In the spring of 2019, the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society was held in Orlando, USA from March 31 to April 4. Professor Yang Guang led the team doctoral student Hu Sanming. Abishek attended the event and gave a verbal report at the meeting. I shared with the participants the progress of the team's research, as well as the excellent reports of other researchers, which increased the academic horizon and expanded the academic thinking.
The ACS conference organized two of the world's most popular scientific conferences. It provides a legal platform for science professionals to demonstrate, publish, discuss and present the most exciting research findings and technologies in chemistry and related disciplines. In addition, the conference promotes networking opportunities, career development and placement, and provides companies with the opportunity to showcase their products and services to their target audience.
Everyone attending the ACS National Conference and Expo will learn more about the role of chemistry in the global economy, health, safety and the environment, and have the opportunity to exchange ideas with top experts in the field. The ACS conference is held twice a year in cities across the United States, attracting approximately 11,000 to 13,000 chemists, chemical engineers, academics, graduate and undergraduate students, and other relevant professionals.
Each meeting has more than 7,000 presentations organized into technical seminars to highlight important research advances. The fair at the ACS conference gave attendees the opportunity to meet more than 250 exhibitors, many of whom demonstrated new technological developments. Many exhibitors also offer free seminars during the conference so that attendees can learn more about these state of the art technologies.
