The First National Cellulose Symposium On October 11-13, 2019, the first National Cellulose Symposium of the Chinese Chemical Society, hosted by the Chinese Chemical Society, the China National Chemical Association's Cellulose Professional Committee and the Sichuan University, was successfully held at the Chengdu Homeland International Hotel. Experts and scholars from national universities and research institutes participated. The conference featured six themes for participants to discuss, Structure A, Structure, Function and Application of Cellulose-Based Materials; Topic B Basic Theory and Function of Nanocellulose; Topic C Efficient Green Conversion of Cellulose; Theme D Lignin separation, structure, modification and its application; Topic E Development and utilization of other biomass resources; Topic F Cellulose Chemicals, Cellulose Recycling Materials Industry Forum. Professor Yang Guang from 3BIO Lab of Huazhong University of Science and Technology led a team of 10 people to participate in the conference. In addition to Professor Yang Guang’s invitation report at the conference, there was a group of teachers Shi Zhijun, Bobo Lamboni and Wajid, and doctoral student Hu Sanming. At the meeting, a verbal report was given. PhD student Li Sixiang, master students He Pengyu, Cao Jiameng, and Yu Fuyu made wall posters. Li Yifan and the colleague Wang Hao attended the meeting.
