1. What should do when fire emergency?
Alarm sound, keep clam, there is protective mask on the top of the office desk. The fire extinguisher is in the corner of the lab and office. There is also a lifeline on the balcony when you are in the 6th floor office.
2. How to do if body broken with blood?
There is a first aid kit in lab and also in every hallway each floor with bandage and hemostatic
3. How to do if some chemical in body or eyes by accident?
There is eye washer and shower outside the lab hallway
4. What should do when Carbon Monoxide Cylinder with leakage?
Open the door and window first, cut off the source of leak and leaves the room
5. How to deal with the broken mercurial thermometer?
Wear glove and mask, collect the Hg with a dangerous label, send it to the environment protective department for special processing.
6. Where and how do I dispose of waste?
Life waste and chemical waste should be divided into different rubbish bin. For some pathogenic bacterial waste should be deactivated before pouring into the pool
7. How to avoid lab flood?
Please take care the pure water machine when you open it ,it is better to use a timer if you are busy doing other experiment
8. What should do if you feel poisoning like throat burning、stomach cramp、vomiting or dizziness
Washing your mouth with large amount of water if the toxic substance in your mouth by accident. Drinking some milk after washing if the toxic substance is alkali. Drinking Mg(OH)2 emulsion and then some milk if the toxic substance is acid. DON’T take vomitive and also carbonate and hydrocarbonate is not allowed to use. Seeing the doctor when the case is serious immediately.
9. How to avoid radiation injury?
The door of the super clean bench should be closed when the UV light is open. The sterilization of cell room by UV light should only be allowed when nobody is in the cell room and also should be leave a message outside the door to avoid somebody without attention that UV light is open.
10. What should do with sharps or broken glass?
This kind of glass should be disposed carefully with wrap thick paper and a dangerous label then in a specific box.
