August 28, 2014, with the invitation from Prof. Sato , the chairman of the M6 Conference, Prof. Yang went to Ibaraki, Japan to attend The Third International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing of Multifunctional Micro-devices. This international conference was chaired by Loughborough University(the UK), Huazhong University of Science and Technology(China) , Advanced Institute of Applied Technology(AIST) in Japan and Kaiserslautern University of Applied Science (German), and over 60 participants from six countries or territories were invited to take part in the conference. The Chinese representatives including Prof. Yang Guang , Doctor Zhijun shi, PhD candidate Shi Xudian , Lin Xiao, Xiuli Chen, Ying Li , Junchuan Yang, Huang Yajia and Man He and Master candidate Haixiang Zhang from Institute of Life ( Huazhong University of Science and Technology ) attended this conference , as well as Prof. Zhang Xianglin , Prof. Wu Shunfeng , Prof. Wu Yiping and PhD Xia Weisheng from the School of Materials . During the conference, the delegates conducted a discussion on the characterization and testing of the multifunctional micro-materials, the optimization of the pivotal process and the manufacturability and reliability of the pivotal issue, and made a report on new discoveries and breakthroughs related to the basis of principle, in material science, biology and electronic package manufacturing and process.
